We’re so happy that homegrown company Knixwear is challenging the status quo by inviting all women to be angels instead of a handful of “perfect” bodies selected by a corporate giant.

In a very tongue-in-cheek move, the Canadian intimates company had an angel mural painted on the side of their Peter Street pop-up store so that women on the real runway of life (AKA the sidewalk) can take turns stepping into the spotlight and acknowledging their divine self. After all, bodies are beautiful – we know that – so let’s celebrate it!

To kick things off, and officially launch the pop-up, Knixwear invited women of all shapes and sizes to model the activewear intimates in downtown Toronto, strut their stuff, strike a pose, and snag a photo. The result was a very lively Monday night in late November, where women – mostly strangers to one another – bared their skin in cold temps to make a statement, feel good about their bod, and have some fun.

The Knixwear Pop-Up will be in operation for the next couple months, so you can check out the space (shared with boxing gym, BOLO Inc.) and browse Knixwear’s collection of perfect activewear intimates, as well as the brand new Loungewear Collection. While you’re there, be sure to ask about the Knixwear x BOLO class schedule, and sign up for a FREE #BOLOKnixwear class by clicking here! Or get your shopping done now.
