&8pm. Titus Andronicus + Ceremony + Topanga @ Il Motore, 179 Jean-Talon West. New Jersey-based indie rockers Titus Andronicus grace the Il Motore stage accompanied by Cali punk band Ceremony and Toronto s own Topanga. $17.

10pm. Tokyo Bar s 15th Anniversary @ Tokyo Bar, 3709 St-Laurent. Our beloved Tokyo, a club that holds a (somewhat grease) in every Montrealer s heart, turns 15 this year! The birthday party will include live sets by Questlove (Philadelphia), Skratch Bastid (Toronto) and Truspin (Montreal). $5.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 29

8pm. Peleus and Thetis @ Concordia s D.B. Clarke Theatre, Henry H. Hall Building, 1454 de Maisonneuve West. Concordia students will present a very unique production of Peleus and Thetis Greek mythology meets Chinese dance. The performance will run until Sunday, December 2. FRIDAY NOVEMBER 30

8pm. Midnight Sun Launch Party @ The Eastern Bloc, 7240 Clarke. Midnight Poutine music editor Greg Bouchard recently travelled to Iceland where he a) hung out with Bjork at a house party, and b) set the stage for Midnight Sun, a new international music network tying together Montreal, Reykjavik and Berlin. Together with Iceland s top indie/alt-rock DJ li D ri, Midnight Sun will be hosting its Montreal launch party with performances by Solar Year, Technical Kidman, Doom Squad and Marble Lion. $10. Music begins at 9pm.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 1

10am. Studio 218 Holiday Pop-Up Shop @ 10 des Pins West, Suite 218. Some great local artists will be hosting a crafty pop-up shop this Saturday just in time for the holiday shopping you were planning to attend to anyway! 10pm.Seventh Heaven: Peer Pressure s 7th Anniversary @ Cabaret Underworld, 1403 St-Elizabeth. Party crew Peer Pressure and ILOVENEON present a special 7th anniversary dancefest featuring Le1f, A-Rock, Hatchmatik and Shaydakiss. $15.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 2

8pm. Book Launch: NewsGirls and The Collection @ Le Cagibi, 5490 St-Laurent. Queer Between the Covers hosts the launch of The Collection, a trans-fiction anthology, and NewsGirls, a photographic glimpse at a women s trans-boxing gym.
