This weekend, A Voice for All’s powerhouse Jahmeelah Gamble is offering you a chance to up your skills in getting your point across: Slay The Mic Masterclass: Say what you mean + mean what you say.

Having MC’d at events like United Way Community Achievement Celebration, W.A.V.E Youth Day and TEDx Women, Gamble knows a thing or two about presentations. If speaking in front of a group gets you sweating buckets, this workshop will help you work through your angst and emerge cool, collected and confident. By the end, you’ll be able to:

  •  Be aware of how your limiting beliefs about speaking up impacts your self-expression and ultimately your life.
  • Recognize you have the power to own your voice, and speak up when it matters.
  • Speak freely without overthinking, over preparing, or over….anything!
  • Learn to love what you say and how you sound.

Sound good? Register here. Workshop runs this weekend and next (Nov. 23 & 30) at Parkdale Centre For Innovation (1464 Queen Street West).
