On Sunday, August 23 at David Pecaut Square, Toronto hosts the 2nd annual Coconut Festival and Marketplace.

The Coconut Festival is produced by Coconut Festival Canada and aims to bring the community together to learn about the many health benefits of coconuts as well as its diverse culinary uses. So come soak up the sun and celebrate all things COCONUT!

Admission is free, and the event features delicious food vendors, natural products, chefs, naturopathic doctors, authors, health lecturers, farmers, and local businesses promoting health and wellness through the use of coconuts. Check out some of the lectures on coconut therapy, pregnancy, chiropractic, and raising children naturally. That’s not all though; this coconut paradise is fun for the whole family and even includes children’s games, coconut bowling contests, hula contests, free yoga, acro yoga, and cultural performers.

The Festival and Marketplace starts at 11:00 am and takes place at David Pecaut Square (behind CBC building and next to Roy Thompson Hall).
