October 5th-7th Fall For Dance @ Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, 1 Front St. E. The critically acclaimed Fall For Dance North return for an exciting three evenings of dynamic performances and a matinee. Experience an eclectic mix of performance styles from contemporary, modern ballet, latin ballroom, hip-hop, bharatanatyam (Indian classical), classical hopak (Ukrainian) and West African. Tickets are $15 each for any seat in the house and can be purchased in person, by phone, or online.

October 7th-9th The Million Dollar Monster Show @ Super Wonder Gallery, 876 Bloor St. W. A group exhibition immortalizing and celebrating the beauty of monsters in pop culture. Don’t listen to what anybody says, monsters ARE beautiful! $7 in advance or $10 at the door (PWYC if you come in costume).

6 pm Drake AV Video Art Party @ The Drake Hotel, 1150 Queen St. W. Meet and mingle with the artists of Drake’s inaugural in-house video art collective, the Drake AV, and check out the works that will grace Drake TV screens for the season ahead. Meet and greet from 6-7 pm, followed by DJs and video art projections. PWYC.

6:30 pm Harvest Wednesdays @ The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. Harvest Wednesdays seeks to connect urbanites with rural producers and spark conversation about Community Shared Agriculture, eating locally for global change and of course, enjoying seasonal Ontario produce, harvested just the day before. Each event features notable guest chefs, inspiring community speakers, produce from Chick-a-biddy farms, local wine partners, and more! This week, the Gladstone hosts a Thanksgiving-inspired feast to celebrate the launch of Chocolates x Brandon Olsen (CXBO)’s fall collection. $60-70 tickets available online.

7 pm Music Bingo @ The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. A FREE weekly event combining the love of music with the traditional bingo format. Each player receives a Music Bingo card which consists of an assortment of songs. Instead of calling out numbers, they play the music! Singing along encouraged.
