10 am “Álvaro Siza: Gateway to the Alhambra” Opening @ Aga Khan Museum, 77 Wynford Dr. This exhibition celebrates the creative process and artistic genius of award-winning Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza and his vision for the new Alhambra visitor centre, called New Gateway or Puerta Nueva, in Granada, Spain. Through renderings, models and sketches, large-scale photographs, and video, the exhibition reveals the artistic challenge behind Siza’s design of the visitor centre that includes a courtyard, auditorium, and restaurant.
