Vancouver Hit List: July 9th-11th

No Pants Party at the ANZA Club (3 W 8th Ave) Friday July 9
Doors at 9 PM
$10, 2-for-1 w/ a free drink before 10:30 PM
Don’t even try to get in with your pants on, they will be checking at the door! No pants shall pass.
The Rules: All garments must be 6″ or higher above the knee – a ruler will be present so don’t play them for a fool.
Tights/leggings/etc. are considered pants.
There will be a pant check so don’t worry about cold weather/indecent exposure charges
There will performances by Peter Breeze and Pony Boy, two performers that would knock your non-existent pants off.

All books are between 55 cents and 3.00 dollars, so if your looking for a new read for the beach you may want to check this out. Nothing beats the salty smell of ocean breeze mixed with crusty old book smell.

Saturday, July 10 – Parkour Gathering
BC’a largest annual Parkour gathering takes place on July 10 starting 1pm at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Downtown Vancouver will become a climbers playground as hundreds of professional and amateur Traceur’s run, jump and climb through the city’s spaces. This is a rare chance to see North America’s best in one spot, inspiring eachother and even there to help give you a shot at it!

Grunt Gallery Opening- Activating the Archive July 8th (350 E 2nd Ave, Unit 116)

Images, video and documents from grunts 26-year history of artistic activity will be on display during July and August 2010. During this exhibition, grunts archives will be moved into the gallery space to allow grunt staff and volunteers the space needed to enhance cataloguing capabilities. Visitors are invited to work with gallery staff in digging through the archive locating hidden gems from grunts past.

The Robson Reading Series presents ANTONIA BANYARD & BILLIE LIVINGSTON
The Robson Reading Series is finishing off its current season with fiction authors Billie Livingston and Antonia Banyard on Thursday, July 8th . Join them at 7pm at the UBC Bookstore/Library at Robson Square. Admission is free and cupcakes will be served!

Hot Times means no rain – which means a lack of shiny car. The Ladies at Shameless Hussy Productions will be able to fix this for you. They’re yearly carwash is happening this Saturday will all proceeds going to future productions

    Some time ago, I needed to buy a building for my corporation but I did not have enough money and could not purchase anything. Thank God my fellow adviced to try to take the mortgage loans at reliable bank. Hence, I acted that and used to be satisfied with my sba loan.
