Toronto Hit List: Nochella, My Bad, Puppy Love, Motown Party & more!

WEDNESDAY

7 pm Music Bingo @ The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. A FREE weekly event combining the love of music with the traditional bingo format. Each player receives a Music Bingo card which consists of an assortment of songs. Instead of calling out numbers, they play the music! Singing along encouraged.

8 pm The MUFF Society Presents: Half Baked @ Imagine Cinemas Carlton, 20 Carlton St. Join The MUFF Society for a screening the classic stoner comedy Half Baked, from director Tamra Davis (Billy Madison, Crossroads, more music videos than you could shake a stick at)! 6:15 pm Feminist Live Reads: Mean Girls @ Revue Cinema, 400 Roncesvalles Ave. That’s so fetch! Join an all-star cast of Toronto performers for a live staged reading of Tina Fey’s Mean Girls screenplay, directed by Feminist Live Reads creator Chandler Levack. Doors at 6:15 pm, show starts at 6:45. $15 tickets ($12 for members/students) available online or at the box office, with proceeds going towards the Trans Lifeline, a suicide prevention hotline for transgender folks in Canada and the United States.

8 pm Slippery Slope Thursdays @ The Drake Sky Yard, 1150 Queen St. W. Let the Drake help keep your dancing feet toasty-warm every Thursday this winter with Reyka Vodka! Crunk, bop, and slide to the sweet grooves of R&B, hip-hop, Top 40, reggae, and dance courtesy of DJ iammiikey.
