Open Roof Festival’s closing night starts off with the guitar pop of Omhouse before wrapping up the 2018 season of movies under the stars with one of the most talked about films of the year, Sorry To Bother You. $15.75 advance tickets available online.

7 pm Music Bingo @ The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. A FREE weekly event combining the love of music with the traditional bingo format. Each player receives a Music Bingo card which consists of an assortment of songs. Instead of calling out numbers, they play the music! Singing along encouraged.

8 pm Drake Trivia @ The Drake Hotel, 1150 Queen St. W. Teams of four or less put their random knowledge to the test as hosts Megan Griffith-Greene and Jeromy Lloyd fire off questions ranging from sporting records and celebrity scandals to geographic discoveries and culinary lingo. $2 to participate. 7 pm Get School’d: Intergalactic Ink @ The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. Over the course of this workshop, the participants will learn the many experimental techniques of india ink and go home with a gorgeous piece of art. Techniques such as egg drop, bloom, bleed, lift, wet on wet, and wet on dry will be introduced, and once the ink is dry, they will allow for a creation of a highly personalized cosmic landscape filled with stars, constellations, and faraway galaxies. $15 advance tickets available online.

9 pm Wimmin @ Handlebar, 159 Augusta Ave. Wimmin, a queer rock and roll dance party, finally rides again – this time with a live karaoke set followed by their usual DJ dance party! An event idea geared towards strengthening relationships between local talent, with the primary focus of providing platforms and giving back. 12 pm Bloorcourt Festival @ Bloor St. W. from Dufferin to Montrose. Bloorcourt Festival boasts one of Toronto’s largest gatherings of artists, musicians, artisans, and masters of all crafts. 1 pm Leslieville Beer Festival @ Dundas St. E. from Logan to Carlaw. A good old fashioned neighborhood street party featuring regional brewers, community food vendors, and local artisans. Your $25 ticket includes a commemorative sampling mug and three beer sample tokens.

1 pm I Wanna Dance With Somebody Daytime Disco @ Gardiner Museum, 111 Queens Park.
