6 pm “It Ain’t Conceptual” Opening Reception @ Cooper Cole Gallery, 1161 Dundas St. W. American artists Marissa Textor and Ryan Travis Christian present a new body of graphite drawings. “Textor creates photorealistic graphite drawings which depict imagery based on geographic and organic sources. Reconstructing familiar images with her flawless technique, Textor manages to evoke an ominous sense of curiosity and an enigmatic understanding of the environment. Christian creates scenes of monochromatic psychedelia with his graphite paper pieces. Christian’s images are constructed using abstract moments, comic elements, vintage cartoon iconography, and pop cultural references.” Until 10 pm. Show runs until May 20th.

9:30 pm The Underground Rebel Bingo Club @ TBA. A secret organization that meets in secret locations to party hard and play hardcore Rebel Bingo (basically, the most hardcore form of bingo ever created).
