Fall fashion is hitting a little different this year (especially since we’re still wearing leggings, living in a bubble). But this Fashionista Virtual Summit, hosted by Bayview Village and The Kit is giving us a reason to dress up and press on some lipstick. We’re excited to schedule a fashion event in our calendar and what’s even better is if if you sign up soon (like, now). you might just be one of the first 150 people to snag a gift bag with a pile of goodies valued at $200. YES PLEASE.
If you’re wondering ‘hmmm, what does a virtual fashion event look like?” you’re not alone. The event press release paints a pretty picture: “The one-day online event will take place on Saturday, October 3 from 9:30 am. – 4 pm. and will showcase the hautest Fall trends, drool-worthy demos from our foodie friends, glam beauty tips and haute how-tos with exclusive roundtables featuring BV retailers and industry professionals—all from the comfort of your own home.” Fun, right? We think so.
Passes are complimentary but for an extra $20, you’ll get an upgrade and be able to participate in some delightful activities like a digital illustration with Monica Smiley or Nessa Lilly, a fashion consultation with fashion stylist Julianne Costigan, or a tarot card reading with High Priestess in the Six or Kait Fowlie. This all feels like the kind of light and easy pick-me-up we’re craving.
For those who want to deepen this experience, the Fashionista Virtual Summit is also offering “how-to” kits to follow along with the instructional and interactive sessions including a Hammam Spa By Céla Homecare Kit for a skincare tutorial and LIVE Q&A with Spa Director Celine Tadrissi and a Parcheggio Ristorante’s Gnocchi Pasta Kit for the LIVE cooking workshop with Chef Andrew Piccinin.
Register and purchase tickets on the Bayview Village site, and follow @bvshops for the latest updates regarding the Fashionista Virtual Summit and other exciting initiatives in 2020. We’ll be there, with our pumpkin spice latte in hand.
