Montrealers! There’s a monthly party going down in your town. A really rad one.

Cousins is a monthly DJ night organized by queer DJs Tamika, Sammy Rawal, and Nino Brown (the same people behind the famous Yes Yes Y’all series, which happens every third Friday at Toronto’s Annex WreckRoom). Playing everything from hip hop to dancehall to trap, Cousins is already making waves in the Montreal scene—not only for its mix of music genres, good DJs, and live performers, but also for its support of queer artists and the queer community in general. It’s a party that encourages “all queers, all allies, and all hip hop lovers to come together.”

This month’s party is happening this Saturday, March 16. It’s a going away jam…for winter. Wave goodbye to the cold with a sweaty dance party? Yes yes (y’all)! Everything kicks off at 10pm and goes until 3am.

So peace, winter! At least we’re kicking you out in style.

Cousins takes place every third Saturday at the Royal Phoenix Bar (5788 Boul. St. Laurent) for $5.
