We’ve come to love Ness Lee‘s work from our City of Craft adventures, and we’re pumped for her next show.

Lee’s art draws on history and personal narratives to create dreamy and surreal illustrations, paintings, sculptures and installations. Often featuring her unique characters, Lee’s work offers a humorous and charming look at ideas of identity, culture, love, belonging and oneness through her line work and novel use of media. Her new exhibit, How To Hold Yourself, looks at how the rumination of memories coincides with our unsettled realities to perpetuate an almost ceaseless mourning.

How To Hold Yourself opens at Project Gallery (1210 Dundas St E) next Thursday March 1st, 6-9 p.m. The exhibit is up until March 31st.
