Designer Corrine Anestopolous of Toronto-based jewelry line Biko, also known as one of our most favourite ladies ever, has introduced a new collection for spring/summer 2012 and we’re pretty much drooling over it, to say the least. She’s combined bright colours and new textures, like vintage African glass snake beads, rock crystal and Japanese rainbow twine, and created over 25 new pieces to add a little colour to both these dreary days and our bodies. Thanks, girl.

Titled A Light Odyssey Into Tomorrow, the collection is comprised of necklaces, bracelets and earrings that add a fun, unexpected pop to any outfit, with the assortment of charms, metals and candy colours. We love the Miriam Necklace ($118), ’cause we’re suckers for spikes, the Crescent Chaindrops Earrings ($52), yowza, and the Modern Friendship Bracelets ($85), which are handwoven oxidized brass chain and Japanese rainbow twine remakes of the classic friendship bracelets you made when you were little. Whimsical and edgy, our kinda thaaaang.

Biko’s spring/summer 2012 collection is available online at ilovebiko.com but you can also find it inside independent boutiques across Canada. For a full list of stockists, check ilovebiko.com/pages/stockists. The pieces range in price from $25 to $225.
