Over the last few years, Toronto’s culinary scene has exploded. And the neighbourhood-centric nature of the city means that different parts of town have become dining destinations on their own. While we all have our neighbourhood stand-bys, and our favourites that are worth a trek, there are so many great new eateries opening up that it’s easy to miss one or several. Enter Savour Toronto, who lead communal food tours of different neighbourhoods around the city.

This month, they have tours of Kensington and the Dundas West/Ossington neighbourhood scheduled. On Sunday, June 23rd, the lunchtime Kensington Krawl will take you to six tastings around the market. You’ll try goodies and meet shopowners from a cheese shop, deli, butcher shop, spice shop, and more.

On June 29th, the Best of the West tour will sample offerings from Dundas West and the Ossington strip for $60. Don’t let the word sample fool you: They guarantee you’ll be full and satisfied by the end of both!

The tours are small (12-14 people), so you’re sure to make some new foodie friends (if you’re good at talking with your mouth full). For more information, visit Savour Toronto on Facebook.
