The FIFA World Cup has officially arrived in Toronto, and the city is buzzing with community spirit and a shared love of the beautiful game. With summer upon us and the tournament taking over the city, it’s the perfect time to get out and celebrate soccer season. From June 11 to July 19, there is SO much happening across Toronto in celebration of the World Cup.
For the next month, FIFA Fan Festival is taking over Fort York and The Bentway for open-air match broadcasts, live entertainment, interactive experiences, and 30+ global food vendors. Many World Cup matches will also be broadcast at Nathan Phillips Square, which has been transformed into a mini soccer pitch. Fans can also gather daily for official FIFA World Cup watch parties and more activations at adidas Home of Soccer in stackt market, or at Harbourfront Centre for Canada Soccer House, complete with matches on big screens, live entertainment, food and drink and interactive fan experiences.
There are also many events not officially associated with the tournament that can still help you celebrate the spirit of soccer across the city. Midtown Kickoff
Kick off your tournament celebrations in the Yonge and St. Clair neighbourhood with this free, outdoor community event. This soccer-inspired festival will feature a streetside soccer pitch, jersey pop-up shops, global food vendors and food trucks, and a local vendor market. Plus, fans can walk away with a free personalized soccer trading card at The Fan Card Factory, a custom photo pop-up. More info.

Watch Parties at RendezViews
