The sixth annual Breast Fest film festival, the only event of its kind solely focused on breast cancer awareness and education, returns on March 28th with the first Canadian showing of The SCAR Project, a series of portraits that celebrate cancer survivors.

In addition to the exhibition, the festival features films that illuminate discussion-provoking issues such as the shortcomings of mammography screenings and the unique experiences of people from immigrant communities who are diagnosed with breast cancer.
