CONTACT is an annual event in May featuring over 1,500 Canadian and international artists and photographers exhibiting at more than 200 venues throughout the GTA. May 12th-19th ReelAbilities Film Festival @ various locations. RAFF is the largest film festival in North America, with 14 festivals taking place in cities across the U.S. and now Canada, dedicated to promoting the awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories, and art of people with disabilities and deaf people. Tickets are $12 or $8 for students, seniors and those on fixed incomes, and can be purchase online or at TIFF Bell Lightbox.

May 13th-15th Grayes Prerun Pop-Up Shop @ The Richmond, 477 Richmond St. W. Soft launch of women’s workwear classic Grayes. Pop-up shop will be open to the public from 10-6 pm daily.

7 pm Music Bingo @ The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. A FREE weekly event combining the love of music with the traditional bingo format. Each player receives a Music Bingo card which consists of an assortment of songs. Instead of calling out numbers, they play the music! Singing along encouraged.

6 pm “The Temptation of Saint Anthony” Opening Reception @ Cooper Cole, 1134 Dupont St. A solo exhibition from Vikky Alexander that reintroduces a selection of photographic works that were completed while she was living in New York in the early 1980s. Moving there from Canada, she became the youngest member of a group of artists that included Barbara Kruger, Sherrie Levine and Richard Prince, who were using photography to demystify codes and systems of representation through appropriation and quotation.
