Ahhhhhh! THIS is our TORONTO! It’s so beautiful that it nearly brings tears to our eyes.

Earlier this week, Koodo decided to surprise visitors at the Toronto Christmas Market by having 80 members of Choir!Choir!Choir! swell into a cobblestone lane and break into song. Instead of traditional carolling, Toronto’s alternative choir opted for The Cure’s hit, “Friday I’m in Love.” When The Cure’s Robert Smith watched the video produced by Koodo, he was so moved that he waved the song rights in lieu of a donation to help sponsor a Syrian refugee family.

Creativity, community, love, song & dance: it’s a wonderful time to live in Toronto, and this heartwarming video reminds us of that.
