Andrea first started writing for McMaster's student newspaper with the promise of free CDs and gig tickets, but found she quite liked putting pen to paper. After finishing her undergrad, she moved to Hong Kong on a nine-month work contract and ended up staying for four years. In that time, she taught English, worked as Time Out Hong Kong's clubbing and around town editor, earned a Masters of Journalism degree and ate an exuberant amount of Sichuanese food and xiao long bao. She's pretty happy to be back in her hometown, where you might find her cycling precariously through the streets of Toronto, dancing at after-hours parties or rifling through racks of cheap vintage clothing. She is constantly in search of a good deal.
