Presented by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship Toronto, 6 Degrees is three days focused on inclusion and citizenship in Toronto. There will be seminars and discussions on everything pertaining to inclusion in the 21st century; newcomers, national identity, refugee crises, diversity and belonging.
Running from September 19th to 21st, the conference includes a lecture by award-winning journalist, syndicated columnist and international bestselling author, Naomi Klein; a showcase of Indigenous music and performance headlined by the celebrated DJ crew, A Tribe Called Red, and emceed by renowned novelist Joseph Boyden; and a marquee event awarding the Adrienne Clarkson Prize for Global Citizenship.
