@measha.brueggergosman.lee’s debut with the @natio @measha.brueggergosman.lee’s debut with the @nationalballet has been a long time coming. The acclaimed Canadian soprano first met NBOC’s Principal Conductor, David Briskin, at a cabaret bar in Hell’s Kitchen. Decades later, they’re finally sharing the stage with ‘Flight Pattern’. 

Powerful, timely, and urgent, this work from powerhouse choreographer @crystal_pite is her response to the global refugee crisis. 

Alongside NBOC dancers, Measha will perform the first movement of the ‘Symphony of Sorrowful Songs’— a depiction of a mother’s despair at losing her son. 

Measha spoke to us about her debut at The Four Seasons Centre (Feb 27-March 6), the profound grief instilled in this piece, and her recent collaboration with @therealmargaretatwood.

She’s taking her music career to new heights with her latest EP, ‘Who We Are (Deluxe)’. 🎶🎤

Our February Artist of the Month is currently starring in the @crowstheatre and @soulpeppertheatre staging of ‘Summer and Smoke’ by famed playwright Tennessee Williams. 🎭
