Beautiful, disembodied, supernaturally gifted, dazzling, and virtuosic are words that have been used to describe the music of British crooner James Blake. All deserving, of course, because the 24-year-old producer/singer/songwriter/classically trained pianist is mighty talented. He also has a reputation for throwing great parties under the moniker 1-800-Dinosaur (which started as a club night in Blake’s hometown of London) with his manager Dan Foat and friends. So, yeah, we’re all smitten.

This Saturday, 1-800-Dinosaur will take over Wrongbar (1279 Queen St. W.) as an after party for Blake’s sold-out show at the Danforth Music Hall. Blake, Foat, Airhead (London), and FaltyDL (NYC) will be your DJs for the night, with a focus on garage, dubstep, and house music. Check out the 1-800-Dinosaur Soundcloud page for a preview or some pre-party music.

Doors at 11:30pm. $15 advance tickets available online. For guestlist, email guestlist@wrongbar.com.
