20 minutes / SUPER easy / $3-5 + bra
We are REALLY into studs these days, and nothing is safe, not even BRAS!!! Let’s be honest… especially not bras. Whether you’ve got someone in mind you’d like to show them off to or you’re keeping this special surprise all to your fabulous self, these little gems will make you shine, shine, shine like the dazzling woman you are. So bedazzle away little limbies, and a word of caution: studding is seriously addictive.
Supplies:
  • BRAS! (Everyone’s got one or two they can spare to the bedazzling gods)
  • STUDS! We had a few different kinds on hand just in case but if you find one kind you really like, go for it! You can find studs at most craft supply stores, here in Toronto there are a TON of bead stores on Queen West (we got ours at Arton Beads)
  • Needle nose pliers for those pesky stud-behinds

Steps:

  1. Picture a beautifully bedazzled bra pattern in your head – got it? Good. Alternatively, if you can’t think of a pattern for your studs use our photos as inspiration
  2. Get studding! This is potentially easier said than done. As soon as we began studding we quickly realized that not all studs are created equal— some poke through the fabric quite easily, while others need some more help. Be patient – it will be worth it
  3. Once you have poked a stud through use your fingers or needle nose pliers (depending on how easily the ends bend) to clamp the stud to the inside of your bra. Note: Make sure they are firmly closed. Obviously, little metal ends poking into your breasts is not ideal! We actually used the pliers to bend the stud ends so they were pointing back into the fabric of the bra.
  4. Ta-da, your ta-tas finally have a bra as magnificent as they are!
